    Agricultural Education, Research and Extension in Gujarat

    Agricultural activities involve the production of crops and animal husbandry for commercial or sustenance purposes. In recent decades, the exponential rise in population has decreased the availability of arable land or rendered it stagnant. This has necessitated greater efficiency in terms of technology development and application of cutting-edge technologies in farm practices for cultivating crops. India has a tropical environment with plentiful sun energy all year long, making it a good place to grow crops year-round. Through river projects and smaller irrigation projects, there is a significant opportunity to improve irrigation potential. Moreover, India benefits from an abundance of available labor. Numerous advances have been made in the hydrological, mechanical, chemical, genetic, and technical elements of agriculture. Governments are expected to spend more on agricultural technological development and attract young talent in agricultural universities in different areas of agricultural research and specialization. Also, planning, devising appropriate programmes and the implementation of need-based agriculture needs to be prioritized in the changing climatic conditions. In this regard, the present paper outlines some technological pathways for sustainable agricultural development in the context of agricultural education, research and extension related issues and practices in Gujarat. Agricultural production is significantly influenced by environmental conditions in Gujarat. This relationship between farming and climate change necessitates innovative farm technologies and the need for skilled agri-professionals to improve crop production. Agricultural colleges and universities in Gujarat have been engaged in research on various issues, including declining groundwater supplies and issues related to salinity in soil and water and have developed new technologies to address these challenges. This also necessitates the emergence of a critical mass of researchers, equipped with know-how related to innovative farm technologies in the agricultural institutions in the state.

    How we fight for our lives: Black Queer Boy’s journey as an outsider of family, fight for the existence

    Every memoir is a sort of manifesto; each chapter adds up to the life of the author, who hopes to leave some sort of legacy that, will inspire others to improve humanity. In every field of trade, commerce, and telecommunication are becoming the haste of rapid development at the global level, which brings some paradigmatic change in people’s understanding of identity and self-hood. This paper makes a serious effort to trace, map out Black Queer Boy’s journey as an outsider of the family searching for his own existence. This memoir also highlights that the black queer boy, Saeed, is aware of the whole discrimination, homophobia, and racism that he goes through all his life and that pollutes everything, and this is the only reason which made him openly awake as a gay black man. In the book, “How We Fight For our Lives”, a black youngster named Saeed fights for not only his own existence but also that of the entire human race. This research paper details his struggle.

The 5 Ps of marketing mix, i.e. product, pricing, place, promotion and person (staff) have been discussed. The marketing should aim at effective library and information services.     Sharing of Library Services on Social Media Platforms

    The Library plays the most significant function in academic life; we can expect to be a strong academician or academic area. A library network is a group of libraries that have come together with some agreement to aid each other with a new way to serve the information needs of their clients or users, such as inflibnet. Social relations in India have grown extremely vital and greatly benefited the library profession. The term "social networking" refers to forming bonds among people who share a shared interest. In India, social media was created primarily too socially. Initially, Facebook was primarily used for social chats; however, over time, particularly after the turn of the twenty-first century, the grouping of users into specific groups began to emerge. Professional organisations began to emerge, and the library profession soon had its organisation with the sole objective of exchanging ideas and acquiring first-hand information on the profession. Without a doubt, as a growing economy, the usage of these media frequently encounters obstacles, which are briefly explored in this study, and measures for improving library services through these media have been proposed.

    Shuddhadvaita’s Contribution to World Peace

    In the 15th century, Shrimad Vallabhacharya founded the school named Shuddhadvaita Vedanta, which is also known as Vallabha Vedanta or Pushtimarga. Shuddhadvaita school of Vedanta tries to upgrade the lives of the followers by making them free from Shad-ripus and solving their interpersonal disputes. It preaches simply and beautifies their lives with a humanitarian approach. Social equality and social justice are the basic phenomena of the school. They try to create peace and love in a social group and finally in the world. As with every branch of Hinduism, the Shuddhadvaita Vedanta leads its followers to life‟s final goal i.e. Moksha but at the same time the follower of this school finds Sarvatmabhava with the lord means experiencing one's own self in everything and experiencing everything within once own self because of this „ekatmabhava‟, the bhakta becomes free from the conflicts like love and hatred, honour and humiliation. And as Ishavasya Upanishad says; „यस्ममन्सर्वाणि भूतवनन आत्मैर्वभूद् वर्जवनत्। तत्र को मोह् क् शोक एकत्र्मनुपश्यत्॥‟ (ईशवर्वमय:‎1/7)

    Understanding Sentiments of refugees through “Slap in the Face”

    This study is based on Abbas Khider's fictional autobiographical novel "Slap in the Face," and the primary focus of this research is on the predicament of refugees in overseas asylums and countries from the viewpoint of a refugee named "Karim Mensy," who fled his country owing to war, strife, fear of rape, and prejudice in search of a better life. This research is also carried out by push and pull factor migration. Khider also makes an effort to describe not only his or their efforts to obtain a residence permit, a job, and money but also the behaviour of the locals toward the refugees. From Karim's experience, when they are helpless and fall under suspicion, the locals blow them up and torture them while they struggle to survive

    हिंदी सिनेमा की भाषिक समृद्धि और गायब होती हिंदी

    हिंदी सिनेमा जगत में जहाँ सत्तर और अस्सी के दशक में विशुद्ध रूप से हिंदी का व्यवहार न केवल परदे के सामने होता था बल्कि परदे के पीछे निर्माता, निर्देशक से लेकर पटकथा तक हिंदी में लिखी और पढ़ी जाती थी । किन्तु वर्तमान समय की यदि बात की जाए तो आज की विडंबना यह है कि फिल्म के निर्माण की नींव रखे जाने से लेकर अंतिम दृश्य तक के कार्यक्रम का लेखा-जोखा अंग्रेजी भाषा में किया जाता है। इस सम्बन्ध में अपने अनुभव साझा करते हुए हिंदी सिनेमा के एक प्रसिद्ध और मंझे हुए कलाकार नवजुद्दीन सिद्दकी कहते हैं कि "आप हिंदी में फिल्म बना रहे हो लेकिन डायरेक्टर भी, असिस्टेंट भी, सारे इंग्लिश में बात कर रहे हैं और एक्टर की समझ में ही नहीं आ रहा..."2 यह बहुत ही दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है कि हिंदी सिनेमा के माध्यम से रोजगार पाने वाले अभिनेता, अभनेत्री, निर्माता, निर्देशक आदि फिल्म के दौरान बोले जाने वाले संवादों के अतिरिक्त हिंदी का उपयोग करना भी आवश्यक नहीं समझते। यही नहीं हिंदी सिनेमा जगत द्वारा आयोजित किये जाने वाले सम्मान समारोह में भी अभिनेताओं और अभिनेत्रियों की कमजोर इंग्लिश का जहाँ मज़ाक उड़ा कर सुर्खियाँ बटोरने का चलन चल पड़ा है वहीं हिंदी में साक्षात्कार देने पर ऐसे व्यक्ति के समंध में आम धारणा बना ली जाती है कि वह अंग्रेजी भाषा बोलने में अक्षम है, इसे सामाजिक दबाव के माध्यम से शर्म का विषय बना दिया जाता है। यह कैसी विडंबना है? यह प्रश्न ही क्यों उठता है हिंदी भाषा के उपयोग पर? इसके पीछे के कारणों को यदि खंगाला जाए तो मैकाले द्वारा भारत भ्रमण के पश्चात कहे गए वे शब्द सहज ही याद आ जाते हैं जिनका मूल स्वर हिंदी भाषा के प्रति जनमानस में हीनता बोध और अंग्रेजी की श्रेष्ठता, स्तर की उच्चता के अनुभव हेतु अंग्रेजी ज्ञान की अनिवार्यता के माध्यम से भारत की जड़ों को हिलाने और इस देश पर राज कर सकने के एक मात्र उपाय जैसा सुझाव ब्रिटिश सरकार को दिया गया था ।

    ખાદ્ય સુરક્ષા કાયદો ૨૦૧૩ અને અમલીકરણની પ્રકિયાઓ

    વિશ્વમાં ખાદ્ય સુરક્ષા લક્ષ્ય હાસલ કરવું મોટો પડકાર છે. કેમ કે લોકો ભુખમરી અને કુપોષણનો સામનો કરી રહ્યાં છે.આપણા ભારતમાં આઝાદી પછીથી અત્યાર સુધી ખાદ્ય સુરક્ષાના લક્ષ્યને હાસલ કરવા સરકાર દ્રારા વિવિધ પગલા લીધેલ છે, જેમકે જીવન જીવવાનો બંધારણીય અધિકાર બનતાં કેંદ્ર અને રાજ્ય સરકારનું કર્તવ્ય બને છે કે કોઈ પણ દેશના નાગરિક ભુખ્યુ ન રહે અને કેંદ્ર અને રાજ્ય શૂન્ય ભુખમરી હાસલ કરે. જે માટે ખોરાકના અધિકારના રક્ષણ માટે બનાવેલ ખાદ્ય સુરક્ષા કાયદો-૨૦૧૩ અતિ મહત્વપુર્ણ છે. જેનો મુખ્ય ઉદ્દેશ ગરીબી, ભુખમરી અને કુપોષણને દુર કરવાનો છે. આ સંશોધનમાં કાયદાની લાક્ષણિકતાઓ જેવી કે પરિવારોની પાત્રતા, કવરેજ, ઓળખાણ,ખાદ્ય અધિકાર, પોષણ સહાયતા ખાદ્ય એલાઉન્સ, રાજ્ય-કેંદ્રની જવાબદારી, દંડની જોગવાઈ, સામાજિક ઓડિટ, સ્ત્રી સશક્તિકરણ, ફરિયાદ નિવારણ પધ્ધતિ, રાજ્ય ખાદ્ય આયોગની રચના વિગેરે બાબતોનો સમાવેશ તથા કાયદાની ખામીઓ, કાયદાની અસરકારકતા વધારવાની રીતો અને ખાદ્ય સુરક્ષા કાયદો-૨૦૧૩ ના સુધારા બિલ-૨૦૧૮ ની સંક્ષિપ્તમાં માહિતિ સાથે ઉપાયો નું વિશ્લેષણ કર્યું છે.

    વાલ્મિકી સમાજમાં સ્ત્રીઓની શૈક્ષણિક સમસ્યાઓ

    વિકાસ પ્રક્રિયા સાથે શિક્ષણને સીધો સંબંધ છે. આપણા દેશમાં સામાજિક-આર્થિક વિકાસ માટેનું પહેલું પગથિયું એ દેશના તમામ લોકોમાં પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષણનો ફેલાવો છે. ધાર્મિક કારણોસર આપણા દેશમાં દલિતો વર્ષો સુધી શિક્ષણથી વંચિત રહ્યા છે. હજુ પણ શાળાઓમાં કેટલીક જગ્યાએ સમાચાર માધ્યમોમાં જોવા, સાભળવામાં આવે છે અને અસ્પૃશ્યતા અંગેના દૃષ્ટાંતો અથવા વાલ્મિકી સમાજના બાળકો તરફ સેવાતી અવગણનાને કારણે તેમનું શિક્ષણ અવરોધાતું જોવા મળે છે. વાલ્મિકી સમાજમાં લોકવાયકાઓ પ્રમાણે નાની વયે સ્ત્રીઓને લગ્ન કરાવવામાં આવે છે. જેથી તેઓ અભ્યાસ કરી શકતાં નથી. આ સમાજમાં એવું લોકવાયકાઓ પ્રમાણે જોવા અને સાંભળવામાં આવે છે કે સ્ત્રીઓને લખતાં, વાંચતા આવડે એટલે બહુ થઈ ગયું અને ઘરની જવાબદારીઓને લીધે પણ સ્ત્રીઓ આગળ વધુ શિક્ષણ લઇ શકતી નથી. તેઓ વધુમાં વધુ પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષણ સુધી જ વધુ સ્ત્રીઓ ભણેલી જોવા મળે છે. પરંતુ સમયની સાથે સાથે થોડો બદલાવ આવતો જોવા મળે છે સ્ત્રી શિક્ષણને અસર કરતાં પરિબળો (સમસ્યાઓ) નાની વયે લગ્ન, કૌટુંબિક અને સામાજિક અપેક્ષાઓ, શિક્ષણની તક ઉપલબ્ધિ નો ઊંચો ખર્ચ, ઘરથી શાળા નું અંતર, અભ્યાસક્રમ, પરીક્ષા પદ્ધતિ જેવી વિવિધ સમસ્યાઓને લીધે સ્ત્રીઓને શિક્ષણ લેવામાં સમસ્યા જોવા મળે છે.
