In recent decades, the exponential rise in population has decreased the availability of arable land or rendered it stagnant. This has necessitated greater efficiency in terms of technology development and application of cutting-edge technologies in farm practices for cultivating crops. India has a tropical environment with plentiful sun energy all year long, making it a good place to grow crops year-round. Through river projects and smaller irrigation projects, there is a significant opportunity to improve irrigation potential. Moreover, India benefits from an abundance of available labor. Numerous advances have been made in the hydrological, mechanical, chemical, genetic, and technical elements of agriculture. Governments are expected to spend more on agricultural technological development and attract young talent in agricultural universities in different areas of agricultural research and specialization. Also, planning, devising appropriate programmes and the implementation of need-based agriculture needs to be prioritized in the changing climatic conditions. In this regard, the present paper outlines some technological pathways for sustainable agricultural development in the context of agricultural education, research and extension related issues and practices in Gujarat. Agricultural production is significantly influenced by environmental conditions in Gujarat. This relationship between farming and climate change necessitates innovative farm technologies and the need for skilled agri-professionals to improve crop production. Agricultural colleges and universities in Gujarat have been engaged in research on various issues, including declining groundwater supplies and issues related to salinity in soil and water and have developed new technologies to address these challenges. This also necessitates the emergence of a critical mass of researchers, equipped with know-how related to innovative farm technologies in the agricultural institutions in the state.Item Dr. BabaSaheb Ambedkar’s And Social Harmony(Chainany E-Journal, 2022-06-01) Sanchala, SandipItem Gender Response in Accessing Food During Coronavirus Out-Break: A Case Study of Hostel-Residents in Gandhinagar.(Chainany E-Journal, 2022-09-01) Kumar, diwakarSDG-10, emphasises the uniform distribution of per-capita food and nutrition intake and percentage share of expenditure on food consumption. The objective here is to instigate spatial inequalities in food and nutrient consumption among students living in hostels at Gandhinagar. The prevalent notions about tribal ways of living which are discriminatory at times have perpetuated their marginalization. Concurrently, many ST communities reside in inaccessible and distant areas with poor transport services which add another layer of exclusion (Sonowal, 2008). Maternal, Infant and child nutrition is a crucial component of public health, especially in tribal community. Unawareness among women about maternal care and nutrition, Infant and child care & nutrition results into poor nutritional and health status. Systematic review of literature suggests that caste and gender create wide difference in MIYCN seeking behavior. Tribal Districts of Gujarat are a unique example of this our field work in Poshina area of Sabarkantha district, It was found that MIYCN condition in those area could be improved if nutrition and health education is disseminated through different informatics tools like mobisodes and FFL Video shows. A survey was conducted in Chochar and Dedka villages of Poshina Block of Sabarkantha District. Respondent were chosen through purposive random sampling from women who were either pregnant or had given birth in three years preceding the survey. Our study shows that tribal women rely on their immediate family members for information related to MIYCN as different channels of information are absent. Moreover, the ASHAs and AWWs fail to provide reliable and complete information. This when compounded with caste affiliation act as major barrier in the nutrition seeking behavior of women affecting MIYCN. Through this study is illustrated that ICT is the most accessible nutrition informatics tool which can be useful in propagating necessary and need based information to tribal women, thus, being instrumental for nutrition promotion.Item Para- Aparavidya according to Indian philosophy Or The journey from Aatma to paramatma(Chainany E-Journal, 2022-09-01) Jadeja, Arunaba; Tanna, anitaItem Rohingya crisis: A Global Anomaly(Chainany E-Journal, 2022-09-01) Suryavanshi, VikramsinghThis article contends that the government of Myanmar has discriminated against the Rohingya people on purpose. Despite claims to the contrary by government and political leaders, the Rohingya have always been a part of Burma's culture and society. These policies of exclusion have resulted in the systematic marginalisation, persecution, denial of basic rights, and abuse of a certain population. Due to reluctance to sign the 1951 Convention and the absence of national legal frameworks in the majority of Southeast Asian nations, the Rohingya refugee protection space in the region has become extremely unstable. The government has shown no signs of ending the violence, despite calls for them to do so from the international community and local activist groups.Item Role of NRI's in Gujarat‟s rural-urban Development in the context of Dharmaj village of Anand District(Chainany E-Journal, 2021-06-01) Sanchala, sandip; Bhatt, PallavikaAs India inches forward and takes its seat on the World stage, we must fully understand the 2 extremes in India – prosperity and poverty. If current projections materialize, India will soon become the largest economy in the world. United Nations established the Millennium Development Goals and classified the poorest 1 billion people in the world as people in „extreme poverty. More than 25% of India‟s population falls under the „extreme poverty‟ group. Another 40% of the population falls under the category of „poverty‟ leaving around 30% as the „urban middle class‟. This „urban middle class‟ of around 300 million people have just started their consumer goods spending spree. Almost 72% of India lives in around 700,000 villages. People from villages have been migrating to large cities seeking employment and other opportunities for themselves. Cities like Mumbai and Delhi, Ahmadabad have almost number of people living in slums and are called the „urban poor‟. In Gujarat every village is different. Some villages are really in a desperate situation. Some have made good progress. If we look at what is common to all of them, we can narrow it down to 4 basic requirements. They are –Education, Health, Water, agriculture and Livelihood. Gujarat State Non-Resident Gujaratis' Foundation (NRGF) has been established by the Government of Gujarat to further the common interests, concerns and historical ties that bind the people of Gujarat to NRGs ( Non- Resident Gujaratis ) or people of Gujarati origin living outside Gujarat, in other states within India as well as places outside the country) with a firm belief that the contact and friendship established through programs of the foundation can go a long way towards generating mutual benefits for the people of Gujarat as well as NRGs and achieving avowed objectives of the NRGF. The objectives of the Gujarat State Non Resident Gujaratis‟ Foundation ("Gujarat Rajya Bin Niwasi Gujarati Pratisthan.") are to explore the possibility as to how Non Resident Gujaratis‟ / Non Resident Indians (NRGs/ NRIs) can play vital role in the development of rural and urban development in Gujarat and IndiaItem Sexual Harassment: A Severe and Pervasive Social Problem(Chainany E-Journal, 2022-03-01) Rajput, BhagyashreeItem Sharing of Library Services on Social Media Platforms(2022-12) Upadhyay, Akhilesh; Shukla, AwaThe Library plays the most significant function in academic life; we can expect to be a strong academician or academic area. A library network is a group of libraries that have come together with some agreement to aid each other with a new way to serve the information needs of their clients or users, such as inflibnet. Social relations in India have grown extremely vital and greatly benefited the library profession. The term "social networking" refers to forming bonds among people who share a shared interest. In India, social media was created primarily too socially. Initially, Facebook was primarily used for social chats; however, over time, particularly after the turn of the twenty-first century, the grouping of users into specific groups began to emerge. Professional organisations began to emerge, and the library profession soon had its organisation with the sole objective of exchanging ideas and acquiring first-hand information on the profession. Without a doubt, as a growing economy, the usage of these media frequently encounters obstacles, which are briefly explored in this study, and measures for improving library services through these media have been proposed. Item Shuddhadvaita’s Contribution to World Peace(Chainany E-Journal, 2022-12-01) Shah, swatiIn the 15th century, Shrimad Vallabhacharya founded the school named Shuddhadvaita Vedanta, which is also known as Vallabha Vedanta or Pushtimarga. Shuddhadvaita school of Vedanta tries to upgrade the lives of the followers by making them free from Shad-ripus and solving their interpersonal disputes. It preaches simply and beautifies their lives with a humanitarian approach. Social equality and social justice are the basic phenomena of the school. They try to create peace and love in a social group and finally in the world. As with every branch of Hinduism, the Shuddhadvaita Vedanta leads its followers to life‟s final goal i.e. Moksha but at the same time the follower of this school finds Sarvatmabhava with the lord means experiencing one's own self in everything and experiencing everything within once own self because of this „ekatmabhava‟, the bhakta becomes free from the conflicts like love and hatred, honour and humiliation. And as Ishavasya Upanishad says; „यस्ममन्सर्वाणि भूतवनन आत्मैर्वभूद् वर्जवनत्। ‟ (ईशवर्वमय:1/7)Item Technology and Social Construct for the Diffusion of ICT in Higher Educational Setup: A Case Study of Ranchi (Jharkhand)(Chainany E-Journal, 2022-09-01) Dubey, maneesh; Sinha, KunalEducation is one of the most important requirement of human being Education is not only the communication of information by teacher or the achievement of knowledge by the child. Candidates that exhibit accountability and professionalism, the ability to work well in a team and solve problems, good oral and written communication, and strong problem-solving skills are highly valued by employers. The purpose of cutting-edge technology in India's educational system is the primary topic of this particular piece of writing.Item Understanding Sentiments of refugees through “Slap in the Face”(Chainany E-Journal, 2022-12-01) Maurya, rohit; Donthula, dr. vinai kumarThis study is based on Abbas Khider's fictional autobiographical novel "Slap in the Face," and the primary focus of this research is on the predicament of refugees in overseas asylums and countries from the viewpoint of a refugee named "Karim Mensy," who fled his country owing to war, strife, fear of rape, and prejudice in search of a better life. This research is also carried out by push and pull factor migration. Khider also makes an effort to describe not only his or their efforts to obtain a residence permit, a job, and money but also the behaviour of the locals toward the refugees. From Karim's experience, when they are helpless and fall under suspicion, the locals blow them up and torture them while they struggle to surviveItem
